Leave no Child Behind for Africa's Development

Reverend Butale emphasized that young people need the chance to gain the education and experience to succeed in a competitive global workplace, which demands more skills, education and technical expertise more than ever. “It is expected of us to focus our energies on tapping into the potential that lies in our youthful population. This therefore calls for the concerted efforts in raising a healthy and a well child’. The Ministry of Health & Wellness continues to collaborate with partners to promote provision of youth friendly services to ensure that no one is left behind in accessing health care, said Reverend Butale.

To celebrate this day the Ministry’s Youth dressed up in their uniforms, making the commemoration youthful and a back to school fun filled event, with activities, varying from poetry, motivations, petitions and photoshoots.
