Training Opportunities
The demand for skilled health professionals will continue to grow. The Ministry works with a variety of stakeholders to produce health care personnel who are relevant to the needs of the country. Botswana offers training opportunities and educational programs to produce a mix of health professionals.

Institutes of Health Sciences
Institutes of Health Sciences (IHS) are the largest provider of health care personnel in the country. IHS were established as an arm of the ministry to provide health care training and education. IHS run training programs in Gaborone, Francistown, Serowe, Molepolole, Kanye and Lobatse campuses.
