MoHW staff recently welcomed new executive leadership Honourable Minister Dr Lemogang Kwape and his Assistant Minister Honourable Sethomo Lelatisitswe as well as Senior Manager Ms Seadimano Oefile to the ministry at a jovial ‘meet and greet ‘session at the ministry’s headquarters.

When addressing staff, Dr Kwape who is also Member of Parliament for Kanye South made a commitment to serve both staff and the general public and that he is advocating for quality health services. He urged staff to strive for excellence and to be selfless when delivering services to customers despite shortage of resources. “Offer services like the way you would want them offered to you; I look forward to facing changes with you and winning with you” he said. He also cautioned staff to shun corruption in their daily work.

Honourable Sethomo Lelatisitswe who re-joined the ministry as Assistant Minister welcomed the new Minister and emphasised on staff working together to deliver the mandate of the Ministry of Health and Wellness’’.

The ministry also welcomed the new Senior Manager Ms Oefile who joined the ministry from Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security. “We are going to work together as one team for the good of the public” said Ms Oefile
