For his part, Vice Chancellor for the University of Botswana, Professor David Norris said that recommendations from the conference will be documented and shared for consideration by the Botswana government through relevant existing structures. In addition he said the university through the department of Computer Science has established an e-Health research unit, to foster e-Health research and capacity-building, in collaboration with key stakeholders among others Ministry of Health and Wellness, BITRI, Botswana-UPenn Partnership.
