For his part the United State of America Ambassador, His .Excellency Earl Miller said that the graduates will add to Botswana capacity to treat substance use disorders. He said armed with the skills they have learnt in the UTC they can now share their expertise with colleagues in the entire health care system. Miller said the United States of America appreciates the beneficial and productive cooperation it has with Botswana and looks forward to continuing and building upon already close relationship.

Alpheus Lemme one of the graduates said that he is “very pleased to have completed the program “We all recognize the problem of drugs and as graduates we are going to work very hard to reduce the problems”, he noted.
