Honourable Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Alfred Madigele received 200 blankets from the Chinese Embassy and the Chinese Business Enterprise. The Minister extended gratitude for the noble gesture and stated that on the 5th of June His Excellency Ambassador Yanbo paid him a courtesy call and in their conversation he requested for blankets for patients at health facilities. “Ambassador Yanbo is a man of his words as today we are gathered here to receive warm Mooi Mooi blankets from the China Business Enterprise’’ he cheerfully added.

He said that the generosity of China Business Enterprises Association demonstrates compassion and care which is in line with the country’s vision adding that this should motivate other Associations and the Business community on how they can support government initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of Batswana.

On behalf of the Chinese Enterprises Association, Deputy President of the Association Liu Wensheng thanked the association and the Health ministry for facilitating for the donation. He said that Chinese Enterprise Association was founded on 19 April 2009 comprised by 17 member companies registered in Botswana with business scope ranging from infrastructure construction, mining to ICT.
