For her part, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Wellness Ms. Ruth Maphorisa said the theme for this year “Clear, Bold and Self driven workforce”, is on its third year and it remains relevant to the occasion, as today’s healthcare service provision calls for transparent and committed workforce.

She noted that the Ministry is about to implement the restructuring exercise that has been ongoing for the past three years.

“I wish to appeal to everyone here, especially today’s recipients to be our role models as we go through restructuring process. Remember the primary goal is to improve service delivery, which I want to believe, we all want for the benefit of our clients” she said.

The event ended on a high note with Nnunu Ramogotsi serenading the audience with tunes from the ‘80s.
