The Ministry of Health and Wellness has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACHAP on Covid 19 Sentinel Surveillance

The agreement comes in the form of an assignment to provide services in the Covid-19 Sentinel Surveillance in which ACHAP shall:

- Monitor intensity, and geographic spread of SARS-CoV-2
- Measure the prevalence of SARS- CoV-2 at the points of entries
- Detect SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks among frontline at points of entry
- Identify risk groups for SARS-CoV-2 infection (socio-demographics, Co-morbidities)
- Describe severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection by risk

The assignment commenced on the 2nd of October 2020
