Block 9 Clinic Reopens

MOH is committed to delivering improved health services to Batswana. As part of this initiative, Julia Molefhe clinic in Block 9, Gaborone re-opened following its closure last year September to allow for refurbishment and upgrading. Through the upgrading project, MOH aims to improve facilities and services to meet the demand of the increasing population. Officially opening the facility, Minister of Health Hon. Dr Seakgosing revealed that MOH is committed to upgrading and refurbishing health facilities around the country as part of improving the quality of health services to Batswana.

The clinic boasts spacious consultation rooms, toilet for the disabled, a large waiting area that would reduce congestion, four bedded accident and emergency bay and a state of the art laboratory and when complete it will have a backup generator, a computer based patient information management system and electronic queue system.

In his remarks the minister implored staff to improve customer care and provide health services with botho. The Hon minister also requested members of the public to fully utilize the state of the art facility and take good care of it as their own property and implored them to pay the P5 revenue fee.
